Management, Strategic, and Professional Staff

The MacDiarmid Institute is led by two Co-Directors and two Deputy Directors.

The Co-Directors are responsible for the oversight and strategic direction across all areas of the Institute.

The Deputy Directors are responsible for: encouraging and fostering commercialisation of MacDiarmid Institute science to ensure the benefits of research are available to those who can put them to productive use, and that our members gain expertise in commercial analysis of their research; and stakeholder engagement through partnerships with key practitioners in outreach and science communication, including with communities, government, educators and students.

The Co-Directors and Deputy Directors are supported by the Centre Manager, Strategic Engagement Manager, and Commercialisation Manager.

Stakeholder Relations Partner Iwi, Diane Bradshaw, is from the Ngāti Te Wehi, Ngāti Mahuta hapū of Waikato Tainui, Te Uri o Hau ki Te Rarawa iwi.
