Professor Catherine Bishop

Professor Catherine M. Bishop earned her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT in 2003 before moving to the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford for a postdoc and Career Development Fellowship. She joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury in 2008. Catherine currently leads the Materials Cluster@UC, a large network of materials researchers at the University of Canterbury.

Associate Professor Cameron Weber

Cameron Weber completed his BSc(Adv)(Hons) and PhD degrees at the University of Sydney before undertaking postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Imperial College London. He joined the Auckland University of Technology as a Lecturer in 2017 before moving to the University of Auckland in 2019 where he is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Centre for Green Chemical Science.
