Our ongoing Careers and Relevant-to-Industry Skills Programme (CRISP) team ran five full-day sessions - two in April and three in November.

Facilitated by Danny Cheng (CTO of DeepKnowledge ML consultancy), Geoff Weal (Research Support Specialist at REANNZ), Sara Bilal (Data&AI Specialist and Quantum Ambassador) and Dr Charlie Ruffman (Senior Research Fellow, computational chemistry at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington).

CRISP events

These sessions are hugely popular with over 120 students, RAs and postdocs attending the workshops throughout the year. This is a testament to the planning and input that the CRISP committee (including the student reps) and the facilitators put into the co-design of the sessions. The knowledge gained and skills developed will undoubtedly serve everyone well as they complete their projects. A big thank you to everyone involved.
