Gathering momentum: our 2025 programme meetings - Annual Report 2025

Our annual programme meetings took place in mid-April, with over 150 Investigators, postdocs, research assistants and students coming together for a rich week of science and connection. It was fantastic to meet our new Investigators and hear about their research, and to work together as an Institute on plans for the next tranche and how we will move our research forward.

A recurring theme in conversations was how full the sessions were - extra chairs being brought in almost became a motif of the week. The slightly staggered schedule and overlapping meetings also meant researchers could join sessions outside their own research programmes and learn more about each other's work. We came away with a strong sense of community and real excitement for the road ahead.
