Into the community - Annual Report 2025

In 2025 the MacDiarmid Institute strengthened its outreach and education by deepening partnerships, expanding regional engagement and involving our alumni network. Our collaboration with Tūhura Otago Museum delivered an inspiring outreach programme alongside AMN11 and a week of community activities on Rēkohu Chatham Islands. We supported regional initiatives from Northland to Taranaki and, with alumni, worked with teachers from Auckland to South Otago.
We are grateful to our wider Institute whānau for enabling such extensive engagement across the motu.
