The future of New Zealand’s expanding deep tech sector depends on a tech-savvy workforce with world-class scientific expertise.
Our graduates enter this sector having worked alongside leading researchers, bringing both research capability and the communication skills needed to translate discoveries into real-world impact. Through our Career and Relevant-to-Industry Skills Programme (CRISP), students gain practical insights in a range of workshops including: landing a first high-impact job: project management; and product development. Our post-PhD internship programme further embeds graduates in deep tech companies, government and industry, providing valuable real-world experience and paving the way to their futures.
